Collectible patches are built to last, but a little care keeps them vibrant for years. Here's how to clean, store, and protect your PatchPak patches.
Cleaning your patches
For everyday dust, a soft, slightly damp cloth is all you need. Wipe gently in the direction of the stitching and let the patch air dry. Skip harsh detergents and never soak embroidered patches.
Washing the bag with patches on
If your patches are attached, spot-clean around them by hand. For a deeper clean, remove swappable patches first, wash the bag on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag, and let it air dry away from direct heat.
Storing patches you're not using
Keep spare patches flat in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. A small zip pouch or a dedicated patch book keeps them organized and crease-free.
Fixing loose edges
If an edge starts to lift, press it back and, for stitched patches, a few reinforcing stitches will hold. Avoid strong glues that can stain the fabric.
Handling special finishes
Glow-in-the-dark, silicone, and UV-print patches each shine with gentle care — clean with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive scrubbing that can dull the finish.
